I have signed up (last minute!) for a craft show this coming Saturday, October 29.  It's at Spring Baptist Church in Spring, from 11-3pm.  The church is having a fall festival about the same time (noon-3) so dads can bring the kids while the moms shop! :)

Spring Baptist's address is 1027 Spring Cypress Road, Spring, TX 77373.

Hope to see y'all there!

new shipment!

Today I received a shipment full of new items!  Some are items that were so popular they sold out, or nearly sold out, at our sale last month.  Some are brand new pieces that my business partner picked out, and wow, she did a great job!
Bangle sets of 5 - I think I literally gasped when I opened the box and saw them all lined up like this!

Trinket boxes, sold separately or nested

Cuff bracelets!  Aren't these awesome?

Headbands!

A bag full of bangles!!

This new shipment has everything - necklaces, earrings, necklace/earring sets, bracelets, cuffs, bangles, rings, headbands, and shoes!

Have you ever seen a pile of shoes so cute in your life?

Various sizes, colors, and styles!

I can now say we have finished a sale!  I have to admit, the turnout wasn't as great as I had hoped, but I know a lot of that is due to bad publicizing on my part.  And we'll be having several more, probably this year, at various churches or areas in and around Houston.  (if you would like to host a sale, please let me know!)

Here are some pictures from our first sale.  It was a 2 night affair.  The second night, we had Bollywood music playing, and I may or may not have danced around a little when I was the only one there. :)

My favorite table was the "silver" table.  I had to get creative with the jewelry displays so that I wasn't spending money on the displays.  (the less money spent on Khazana Bazaar, the more gets to go to the overseas work!)  My sis-in-law had a "Pajama Glam" birthday party for my 6 year old niece, and decorated the table with necklaces in fancy glasses.  I realized that would be perfect for my sale, especially since our dollar store sells 6 champagne glasses for $1. :)
My other cheap-slash-free (slash ghetto?) displays included wrapping empty boxes and sticking plastic hooks on them to hang the necklaces...

The pink/purple beaded necklace on the left is mine now. :)  I told myself if no one bought it, I was going to.  I'm glad I did - it goes with a TON of my clothes!
...and putting cheesecloth in empty picture frames to hang the earrings...

But no matter what the displays, nothing can detract from the super cute jewelry and accessories!

If you didn't make it out to this sale, hopefully there will be another one in the near future closer to you!

खज़ाना बज़ार

I am so excited to announce that Khazana Bazaar (Hindi for "Treasure Market") is open and ready for business!  For so long this has been a dream, and finally, there is actual jewelry and other treasures in our possession!

Khazana Bazaar is a company that wants nothing more than to fulfill Matthew 28:19-20:  "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  How on earth can a small time jewelry business be on mission with God in that capacity?  For one, this company allows workers to be overseas, sharing the Good News of Jesus.  Another, all profits from the sales will be sent to support these workers.  And as a bonus, we dream to one day partner with needy women in India, to teach them to make jewelry for us to sell, benefiting their families and communities.

Soon I'll be posting some pictures, some even with gorgeous (and possibly familiar-looking) girls and women modeling the pieces.  And I'll also post our sale dates.  If you have any questions or would like to special request some items, add your comment below, along with a way to contact you.
